Growing deep in the mud and far away from the sun, sooner or later, the Lotus reaches the light to bloom. Even when its roots are in the dirtiest waters, the Lotus produces the most beautiful flower. Beauty can come from even the most difficult of times and it is only a matter of time before each and every one of us reaches our own light. Each piece is made using a pinching and coiling technique before being shaped into its unique form. The raw texture of the grogged clay and an unglazed finish emphasizes its beautiful imperfections.”
